Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Understand and apply relevant legislation, regulations, standards, codes of practice and organisational requirements when controlling traffic.
Apply safe working practices in accordance with WHS/OHS procedures.
Identify hazards and implement appropriate risk controls associated with traffic management and control.
Direct traffic using stop-slow bat, hand signals and approved communication devices.
Assemble and remove signs and devices associated with traffic control.
Understand and identify appropriate PPE appropriate to traffic management and control.
Complete relevant required documentations.
