CPR & First Aid
Units in this course:
Equip yourself with the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and provide appropriate and relevant First Aid that may be required in common First Aid situations.
HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 - Provide first aid
UETDRMP010 - Provide first aid in an ESI environment (Electrical Supply Industry)

Learning outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Respond to emergency situations by assessing risk.
Perform CPR in accordance with ARC guidelines.
Understand and apply automated external defibrillator (AED) in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
Direct and manage safety for self, bystanders and the injured casualty.
Ensure privacy and confidentiality of information in relation to statutory and organisational policies.
Complete relevant required documentation and effectively communicate emergency situations to emergency services.
Provide an appropriate First Aid response in a variety of different First Aid situations.

Pre-requisite units:
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Must complete HLTAID009 prior to attending UETDRMP010 (can be booked together)
